This child safety wristband (or ankle band) is part of the 'About Me' Series of child id products from Safe Kids Corner. This bracelet is made of sturdy Velcro and has a plastic loop buckle to allow secure fastening on a child's wrist or ankle. On the reverse side of the band is a unique hidden ID pouch that holds the reusable waterproof plastic ID cards. Parents write vital information on the plastic cards with a good ball-point pen or ultra-fine permanent marker, then insert the ID card into the pocket.

As a parent, you want your child to have the freedom to enjoy his outdoor activities and you want him to be as safe as possible while doing it. This band gives you peace of mind in knowing that you can be contacted in case of an emergency when your child is not close at hand.

When the safety wristband is wrapped and secured around the child's wrist, the id pouch is on the inside of the band where the vital information is kept secure and discreet.

Three waterproof plastic labels are provided, both sides of which can be written upon. A good ball-point pen or ultra-fine permanent marker are suggested as they will remain legible even after immersion in water. Phone contact information and medical conditions such as allergies are suggested to be included on the id cards. The 3 different labels are useful if caregivers change on any given day or if vital information is important on a special occasion.

Size LARGE fits wrists up to 8 inches around, which is suitable for children with larger wrists, or for use on ankles. For children under 3 years of age, parental supervision is important as there are small parts in this item.

Size SMALL is also available for smaller wrists. Color BLUE is also available in all sizes.

These wristbands are a comfortable 3/4 inch wide.
